Love that surf and drag (as in drag racing, also referred to as hot rod) music. My favorite genre of rock and roll oldies from the early and mid 1960's.

Love this stuff!
I guess this thread as as good as any to discuss the Silly Surfers, another Gary Usher project with fellow Beach Boys alum Roger Christian!
The two obvious Halloween tracks are "Monster Surfer Hangin' Six" and "Hearse on a Surfari!"

These songs were available on 2 separate albums, one for the Silly Surfers and another for The Weird-Ohs. There was a single album which featured 6 songs each from the Silly Surfers and The Weird-Ohs. There are lots (and I mean LOTS) of great surf/hot rod groups from the early through mid 1960's. Among my favorites are The Hondells. The great Dennis McCarthy (yes, that Dennis McCarthy from Star Trek Deep Space Nine etc.) was a member of the Hondells at one time. You can see a picture of him if you go to Ebay and type in the search field The Hondells volume 3 Aliases and Alternatives. He is the person shown in the upper left hand portion of the photo.

Were Gary Usher/Roger Christian involved with the Weird-Ohs?

Not sure, but I think Gary Usher was; don't know about Roger Christian.
