Any sign of a score album for the new Netflix Christmas film, JINGLE JANGLE? There is a single beautiful "score suite" track on the soundtrack that was released today, though I'm always irritated when a track running under 4 minutes is called a "suite." The composer has another cue, "Jangles and Things," on the homepage of his website: www.johndebney.com.

I just watched this tonight. There is hardly any score I noticed in my first viewing. Maybe 15 minutes maximum. The majority of it is songs. It has that classic Disney feel where half of the plot movement is through songs. I was hoping for some grand ending but instead it ends more abruptly. I don't see this being ripe for some full score release down the road. The music just isn't there.

Did you listen to that score suite track? In an interview Debney said this is one of his top five scores of his career.

Not yet. It was excellent when Debney's score was present. Made me wish he wrote a full score for this.

Debney just posted on Facebook that the full score will be released "very soon."

Listen to the songs. I can't imagine Debney not having a hand in them. I don't know the titles but many of them are also quite joy filled. The plot could have been executed better but for a family holiday film it was not bad and the songs were a highlight.

Debney didn't work on the songs. They were all produced by Harvey Mason, Jr. and mostly written by Philip Lawrence, Davy Nathan, and Michael Diskint among others.

I can’t find this information in his Instagram. Where did Lakeshore announce?

Not sure why that image isn't visible in your post, but I do see mention of December 4th. Perhaps it will come up during Daniel's live interview tomorrow.

Nice! I watched the film a couple of nights ago. There’s certainly a lot more than 15 of score in the film. Practically wall to wall. Wonderful score!
