Nah, I think most people will get the joke.

Is this FSMs equivalent of clickbait ?

From my experience nope! There's mostly a bunch of humorous old slogs around these parts.
Oh, and yeah change the thread title. wink

Are you any of you film music wankers really offended by something this silly and inconsequential?

Because if you are, you're the problem, wankers.

So, you've never been half-asleep, logging onto the internet and so upset by something you read and barely comprehended that you go off half-cocked and post an irrational response?

Oh, wait. Yes, you have. Just now. It's all right. Happens to the best of us.

Yeah, zardoz needs to change his entire post. I don't think there's a real breakfast cereal called Unlucky Charms. He knows that's what I looked up on google.

I don’t drink lattes. I’m more of a soda man.

Over the past year, the sheer amount of jokey threads does seem to be a bit out of control and doesn't really reflect the forum as I'd known it for the years prior. As much as I'm guessing we all appreciate jokes, I kind of feel like "humor" threads should go the way of bootleg and politics threads. But that's just me. This isn't aimed at any particular member here who likes posting jokey things - I'm heartened that we're all here because we love a lot of same music, which happens to be music most people don't seem to care about, so we're all real peers - but I just find the incessant amount of joking to be strange when I just don't remember that being a real hallmark of this forum in the past.

Oh, I love humor and humorous posts, fun and wit is welcome. I just find pure clickbait headlines lame.

Well, regardless, I sure could use some more Richard Band in my collection, and sheesh, listening to MUTANT right now, and that was obviously written at a time when lesser budget B-movies could have great A orchestral scores. How does Ravenwolf Towers compare?

It’s electronically based, like all of his stuff from the last 30 years (won’t someone allow him to play with an orchestra again?), but it’s quite colorful. Some jazzy tracks, neat suspense cues, a haunting main theme, albeit borrowed from his The Evil Clergyman score. Worth a try.

I’d never even heard of this Richard Band individual before this thread cropped up to save us from our James Horner orthodoxy.

“Props” to ZardozSpeaks for not returning to the scene of his “crime.”

“Over the past year”? Are you so safe and snug in ma and pa’s basement that you are unaware of what’s been going on in this old brown world over the past several months?

Humor—whether one finds it funny or not—is exactly what is needed in a collector-obsessive place such as this board.

Huzzah! Laugh, don't laugh, smile or frown. Its your own choice.
