Oh thanks I forgot about that edition. Is it a big upgrade from the varese club edition?
Upgrade? Certainly sounds different. Varese vs Intrada flip a coin. Intrada has a bit more music. If they find the missing cue clean that has sound effects it will be worth another go at this one.
BIG upgrade. 2CDs instead of one with a decent chunk of more music (and better sound), including some very important and significantly different alternates (my favorite is the Overture with the Chinese Love Theme rather than the main love theme which I don’t like nearly as much).

It’s a must own.

The Overture with the Chinese love theme was Goldsmith’s original take and was on the Original LP Soundtrack album. The sound between the two versions is quite different. Though I enjoy the Intrada album the sound on the Varese is more powerful and fuller on my system.
BTW the Original Overture is on the Varese alblum as well And yes, it’s better than the one used for the film.
I'm glad you found the 2CD Intrada Sand Pebbles worthwhile! As for Tora Tora Tora, seeing how LLL reissued The Blue Max so soon in this new Goldsmith at 20th series, I don't think it's that unlikely they'd reissue Tora Tora Tora as well.
