SEASON 1:

I will double check all season one composer credits where possible. If you see a "(CORRECT)" by the name, that means I was able to verify the on-screen credit. Most loads have the end credits cut off.

I'll have to double check dates, but what I read online is that this began as a backdoor pilot in an episode of "The Virginian".

"Lazyfoot, Where Are You?" (the pilot)
By: Russ Garcia
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7X9aRFG5-g8

Highlights:
  • 0:00 in.
  • 5:15 in. SFX for the first thirty seconds.
  • 11:47 in.
  • 14:30 in.
  • 23:57 in.
  • About 27:30 in.
  • 29:27 in.
  • 31:19 in.
  • 34:07 in.
  • 38:05 in.

A weak first effort and I'm not sure how much of this I'd include on a set of season one scoring.

    "So I'm a half-cock conclusion jumper, huh?!"
"Right. But admittin' your faults is the biggest step toward correctin' them."

    "I See By Your Outfit"
    By: Russ Garcia
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivZnvaTZok4

    Highlights:
  • 7:44 in.
  • 14:21 in. And the cue after the commercial break.
  • 17:29 in.
  • 20:28 in.
  • 23:25 in. And the cue after the commercial break.
  • 23:13 in.
  • 26:57 in.
  • 30:02/31:40 in.
  • 33:10 in.
  • 38:02 in.
  • 41:39 in.
  • 42:56 in.
  • 44:29 in.
  • 47:55 in.

There is a lot of tracked parts of cues into other cues.

    "Yahoo"
    By: Russ Garcia (CORRECT)
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wMqKpBxLfXo

    Highlights:
  • 0:00/2:20 in.
  • 4:54 in.
  • 7:49 in.
  • 10:40 in.
  • 11:57 in.
  • 13:20 in.
  • 19:53/22:05 in.
  • 24:49 in.
  • 29:48 in.
  • 30:26 in.
  • 32:05 in. Over four minutes long.
  • 37:27 in. And the cue after the commercial break (long cue).
  • 47:34 in.

Something is very fishy here. I distinctly remember years ago finding a load of the episode on Youtube and the credit saying George Duning was the composer, yet all loads I could find now say Russ Garcia.

    "Rendezvous at Arillo"
    By: Russ Garcia (CORRECT)
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_AfW_E_Th5A

    Highlights:
  • 2:41 in. I forgot to mention, but he's blending in cues with the title card music so they sound like one continuous cue.
  • 7:12 in.
  • 21:33 in.
  • 24:57 in. After a brief lull, it picks back up.
  • 30:14 in.
  • 33:45 in.
  • 41:12 in. Over six minutes long.
  • 47:38 in.

The bar fight music sounds tracked from one of the prior two episodes.

    "Three's Company"
    By: Russ Garcia
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6j8yvaQVQUM

    Highlights:
  • 1:57 in.
  • 8:44 in.
  • 12:30 in.
  • 15:23 in.
  • 22:01 in. And the cue after the commercial break.
  • 24:40 in.
  • 26:41 in.
  • 32:11 in.
  • 33:20 in.
  • 35:30 in. With a little bit of Russell's idea of Indian attack music.
  • 37:16 in. More of his Indian attack music.
  • 41:50 in. Also includes more of his Indian attack music.
  • 43:48 in. Also includes more of his Indian attack music.
  • 46:20 in.
  • 47:18 in.

"It only takes one of them to shoot you, Chad."

I love that show. In a way, it was like ISpy; adventure with a good dose of humor. I'd buy a release of the music; heck yea!

I have the DVDs and that's the only credits I remember, Garcia for season one, Marshall for season two.

You're not there yet but, while the Jack Marshall cues are OK, I think they contributed to the change in tone (no pun intended) of the second season which I did not prefer to season one. I guess I prefer the Garcia cues for this series.

    By: Russ Garcia (UNCHECKED)
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c1v-ihjDFN0

  • 36:47 in.
  • 37:50 in.

I got to say the constant often mediocre comedy of the show has quickly worn at me; it's become irritating.

Okay, I accidentally stumbled upon a channel that had the unedited episodes up, that didn't come up in a search at all, and I have checked all but one episode of season one (I have noted the episode "(UNCHECKED)") and Garcia is credited on all them except that one Lyn Murray effort. I took a screen grab and posted it for posterity's sake.

    REMAKE???:

Over on IMDb there is a 2012 series called "Laredo". Information is scarce on it. I e-mailed the writer/creator of it, but heard nothing back. Nothing I have found suggests there were multiple episodes. I am assuming this was ordered for series, a pilot was filmed, and then yanked late and the IMDb entry is simply an out-of-date entry.

What little I have found suggests this is a western drama that takes place on the U.S./Mexico border. Well, in season one of the 1960's series, it took place in Laredo, Texas, which is near the U.S./Mexico border, so my best guess is this 2012 project was a re-visioning of the original series, into a pure drama.
