Let's talk about the musical contributions of music director Wladimir Selinsky to the groundbreaking series "Decoy" (1957-58), a forward-thinking series focused on a female police officer who frequently goes undercover.

What confirmed contributions? IMDb only has one episode score credited to him. The rest are apparently track jobs. Do you have a source showing he actually contributed original music to episodes?

He is listed as the music director for 25 episodes.

That doesn't necessarily mean original music. Even back in the 1950's composer were credited on shows.

It also doesn't rule him out as a composer.

Either way it doesn't matter. What is important is that the music is good.

Yeah, but you are asking people to discuss his contributions, which we don't know there are any of.

If he chose the music, that is a contribution. He was paid to do this.

So I am interested in discussing Wladimir Selinsky's contributions to the groundbreaking series "Decoy," which may be enjoyed for free on Amazon Prime.

Well, so do music editors sometimes. The thread title is entirely misleading as well as your opening post.

Might as well discuss Christopher L. Stone's contributions to "Knight Rider" ,since he technically contributed the sound K.I.T.T. makes when scanning. I mean, geez, that's a broad meaningless way to use "contribution" for scoring.

I'm not even going watch the "Decoy" now. This silliness has put me off it.

That's fine. You might accidentally hear a piece of music you like.

I won't watch Knight Rider either, but not because of this thread. The date of the show's run does not bode well for the music.
