The show is intriguing. You have to think of it more like the Twilight Zone, and less like the sitcoms that it is based on. I'm a big Beck fan, but the music doesn't do much for me so far.

According to Beck in his Twitter, there would be a score release.

I thought it felt like The Dick van Dyke Show crossed with The Prisoner. I didn't remark on the score other than what always felt period appropriate.

But the samples sound great! I will probably wait, though, for a complete album. No use in repeating the "Picard"-situation.

It's extremely exciting to see Beck's work released, and in an album-per-episode format.. ...but is Disney Records shooting themselves in the foot again by pricing these sky-high? Who would honestly pay $9 for 9 total minutes of music, lovely as it is? At least with the individual Mandalorian albums by Chapter, the running time for each was in the 25-min range. I love Beck's music, and I'm so happy to see albums available for his work, but at these prices, I can't justify it. Hopefully, Disney will compile all the tracks for the first season into one CD album, and price it more reasonably. I am enjoying what I've heard, so far!
