If you like Blood and Black Lace the most, then you might like the similar Delitto quasi perfetto.] Thanks! I cannot find the film to stream, and I cannot find the music on the YouTubez. And the album is not available as a download from Qobuz. Found one clip for Onya: https://youtu.be/z5-IYkZqUOA

I Love Rustichelli's music surprising to see you have rated Delitto D’amore at the lower end I find that one hypnotic, Like a spiraling down inward journey. Yeah, I can't get into that one. Delitto d'amore doesn't have descriptive dramatic music plus his themes for this sound very 'folksy' or like cafe music. Unable to listen to the whole thing through ... I tend to stop playing this album after 1st dozen cues.

Yeah, I can't get into that one. Delitto d'amore doesn't have descriptive dramatic music plus his themes for this sound very 'folksy' or like cafe music. Unable to listen to the whole thing through ... I tend to stop playing this album after 1st dozen cues. I think that the main problem with DELITTO D´AMORE is that it is too repetitive and doesn´t lend itself very well to a CD release with more than 40 minutes of music. In this particular case a suite with about 15 minutes would probably be a better solution and would befit the score much more. For me the problem here are certainly not the themes themselves as they are quite typical of Rustichelli´s style. If you don´t like the "folksy" Sicilian character of the very nice main theme and its instrumentation with strings, guitar, harmonica and mandolins, you will then certainly dislike many of Rustichelli´s scores in general. Also the second melancholy theme is of course a characteristic Rustichelli theme. However, what we get on the CD are just alternations of these two themes track after track with not much development at all and with too little variety in instrumentation. There are many other Rustichelli scores where there is much more musical development of the themes, but unfortunately not with this one which therefore is just a bit odd to listen to in its complete version.

Here's my tuppence - I prefer Carlo in his historical mode rather than his western mode.

*update* 7 8. la notte del grande assalto 9. sei donne per l’assassino 10. il dominatore del deserto Whilst I have no plans to further acquire Rustichelli music, I nevertheless bought myself a KronGold disc recently during a sale. I like i promessi sposi more than I had expected; I'd rate it as a "7" and rank it below la notte del grande assalto but above sei donne per l’assassino.
