The thread reminded me of this. Experimental in parts, but quite fun. The more orchestral bits point toward future Newman goodness and (as I mentioned) the splashy, sarcastic finale cue is a howl.

I will never understand why critics and audiences came down so harshly on this score, which is gorgeous, mysterious and melodic. Granted, it was attached to one of De Palma's worst movies, but it's still fantastic music.
