  • The previous release of Silence of the Lambs was a Limited Edition. So I guess the word 'limited' holds no value anymore, since limited editions are getting reissued now. :/

I hope that's the case. Doesn't make much sense for such a niche market to be even further niche.

  • A bot that can "think"!

It is learning, becoming self aware...

  • This would be the title's 3rd release, so I'm surprised it's that popular. If their earlier edition is still in-print, they should send us free upgrades.

For a CD, that would be physically and financially impractical, but for a digital release, there are game publishers who offer free upgrades to those who purchased previous versions, so music publishers could follow suit.

So, for clarification, does Quartet's previous 2-disc of SILENCE OF THE LAMBS have a reversed stereo image, or just the previous single-disc release?

I think other users were talking about "The Awakening" cd's, no?

Correct. It says in the announcement starting the thread that SILENCE is a straight reissue, and AWAKENING was tweaked.

Listening to The Awakening now and it does sound fantastic, Chris Malone did a great job as usual.
Glad that it was rereleased because it was a score I was wanting and had not purchased the previous editions.

The picture in the back reminds me a lot of the scene in Raiders where they're digging the Well Of Souls, maybe Spielberg was inspired by this movie for that scene.

My first time on this score. Just watched the movie too. This is old school scoring. Rich and rewarding.

Has there been any indication as to whether these re-releases are both limited runs?

Would anyone intimately familiar with the Silence score be able to identify the passage from 0:00-0:23 in this video?
