I have six cds which shipped almost two weeks ago, and when I track each one they all say arriving late with no movement in over a week. Normally I'd receive the cds in about three days. It probably has to do with the bad weather in the U.S., but is anyone else experiencing this? Mind you I'm not complaining, just concerned.

I've had a package from Intrada not move or been updated since January 23.
It left San Fran and has probably arrived in the UK, but has sat wherever it is sat for nearly 4 weeks now.
Lots of other stuff I ordered from other sources days/weeks after (Japan in one instance) has sinced arrived.
It's just the times we are-a-in, I would say, henry.
Sit back and play some Bill Conti...the waiting is part of the fun smile

Yes, two weeks is nothing. I ordered a few CDs from the UK in mid January. They arrived this week. So more than a month's wait. So just sit back and relax, Henry.

Hi Henry, all my stuff was extremely slow, of course I live inside what was the polar vortex this past week. But I know the entirely postal and delivery system was crushed by storms across the whole eastern half of the nation. Packages from Amazon, Target, a whole lot of vendors are late, and Varese now ships from, guess where, Austin Texas, where most of the city was without power and water for a week. In the bigger picture, when I order CD's now, I order and then I pretty much forget about it, and it shows up one day. I think most of our labels do a pretty good job to the extent they can.

A couple years ago I had two separate CD orders coming from different parts of the world which arrived in Los Angeles on the same day three months later.

I currently have one order apparently sitting in an LA post office for the last month, and two others from an Amazon seller based in Japan which have been en route since November-December.

Someday, maybe...

Hi Ado! Yeah I assumed it was from the weather, I hope you get your packages soon, but more importantly how are you doing with this weather my friend?smile

Definitely having that here too. I had ordered the new Good Bad and Ugly in late Nov and I finally got it the second week of January. I was even willing to ask for a refund which I don't like doing honestly. But my patience bore out.

One of those two orders that took three months to arrive came from Malta. The same seller, or is Malta an unexpected hotbed of soundtrack sales?

As a lifelong Ray Harryhausen fan, I missed the original printing of the definitive three-book series on his life and career, Master of the Majicks, so I pre-ordered/paid for the updated/improved new printing.

Three and a half years ago. Still waiting for that new printing... (another Harryhausen friend is in the same boat).

EDIT: Looks like I was wrong. FOUR and a half years.

Hi henry! I too have had similar delays with USPS. It's apparently due to them working with a limited staff due to COVID and an uptake in packages being sent via USPS. Some past purchases arrived quickly, while others experienced delays. Regardless, all of my packages had arrived safe and sound.

Sure I'll build it for you, once I get done building the 200+ model kits in my closet.
