Interesting. But couldn't they have used Horner's music for the trailer instead of this generic trailer music?
Your answer will always be a rights issue. You can be sure they wanted to, but since this video is posted to Youtube for public viewing, I imagine that the producers couldn't get clearance rights for the trailer. The documentary itself probably features his music, for which they paid the fee (I'm assuming).
Horner did some brilliant stuff and his passing affected me for quite some time, but man oh man that trailer is in overdrive overdrive! The echoing of his voice and that trailer music! They put the pedal to the metal from the get go and never let up.......

So is this anything original or is this some guy who is splicing together DVD featurettes/extant footage without proper attribution? Everything in that trailer can be found, in full, on YouTube or on DVD releases of the respective films.
