The Man Who Knew Too MANY Tapes Survive.

The Man Who Knew Too Many Tapes SurviveS.

Admittedly, there is some ambiguity regarding the syntax.

You can interpret it as:

The man who knew that too many tapes survive;

or:

A particular man, who happens to know too many tapes, survives.

So, we are both correct, depending on how we interpret the sentence.

Don't forget about Columbia single #4-40673: "We'll Love Again" - both tracks accompanied by Frank DeVol. For the international market, the two TMWKTM songs where combined on one single.

The easiest way would of course be to put all the available (and previously unissued) Hitchcock tracks into a box set, but I think this will not materialize since Stylotone and the Herrmann estate had other plans. I'd buy each of those scores in a heartbeat, but for as long as there isn't a definite confirmation that a release is in the works, I won't believe anything. Too often we were told that score x existed in vault y - just to find out that the studio lost the masters. Of course, there are also many examples where it was the other way 'round, but a full release of "The Trouble With Harry" (let alone "Rear Window" including the Crosby track or TMWKTM including the Day vocals) would come close to a miracle.

Wow, I never knew this song had been recorded and released. In the film, you mainly hear it faintly through the walls when the boy is locked in the room, though I think there might be a couple of brief cutaways to Day singing it down in the ballroom.

I think it's actually quite odd that "Que Sera" became the song that Doris Day is mostly remembered for. After all, "The Man Who Knew Too Much" isn't exactly the kind of movie she was popular for. One of the best examples for how a movie song can go a very separate way from its origin.
