Two suites of the "How to Train Your Dragon" music. This score is a great one, isn't it?

I'll just address HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON.

If you saw the film and listened through the ears/eyes of child – or better yet, your own – you'd see just how profound, varied, touching and special it is. HTTYD is a generation's STAR WARS.

I watched the movie after I bought it to see if I would like it better once I heard it as it was supposed to be heard. The problem with that was that I thought the MOVIE was just as blah as the music. lol I did like Toothless though. Cute.

I'm not sure if people here recommended it so much, but I remember buying the score to that Crouching Tiger film after I read some positive reviews and comments on it only to find it totally unmemorable and dull.

I bought HTTYD on the recommendation I encountered by people in this forum and thought it is an excellent score, among the best of the last 15 years.

I remember reading loads of thumbs up for A SERIOUS MAN (I think it was called that, or something very similar) by Abel Korzeniowski, at this forum, so I took a punt on it when I saw it in HMV for a tenner.
Played it twice and got nothing from it.
Took it back and swopped it for something more fulfilling.

La Ligne Droit by Doyle was another that got rave reviews here and I love Doyle, so I snagged it without hearing samples. I didn't care much for it all.

I know ..... I know ..... I should have sampled it first. But where is the adventure in that? lol

That sounds like the optimistic "bad sex is better than no sex at all" interpretation.

2008: I got caught up in the bboard excitement for BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES and bought a two-disc set. But I couldn't get into it.

2013: I raved to the high heavens about S.O.S. TITANIC, which caused another FSMer to buy it, and he hated it.

After that I learned to be more careful, whether I was pitching or catching.

LOL Actually..."It's the trashing of the Watermelons I bought" thread!

I can think of plenty of these in my collection, but many I did sample, so I gave it a shot and was disappointed. Thankfully many I traded or sold, so it wasn't that big of a deal.

Name a score that people on here just seem to adore and so much so that you went out and bought it without hearing it only to be crushingly disappointed.

Most FSM members love these shoes! You can't be a soundtrack fan and NOT like them! Get a pair now before they're all sold out! You won't regret it - I guarantee it!!!!
