If you saw the film and listened through the ears/eyes of child – or better yet, your own – you'd see just how profound, varied, touching and special it is. HTTYD is a generation's STAR WARS.
I watched the movie after I bought it to see if I would like it better once I heard it as it was supposed to be heard. The problem with that was that I thought the MOVIE was just as blah as the music. lol I did like Toothless though. Cute.
I'm not sure if people here recommended it so much, but I remember buying the score to that Crouching Tiger film after I read some positive reviews and comments on it only to find it totally unmemorable and dull.
I remember reading loads of thumbs up for A SERIOUS MAN (I think it was called that, or something very similar) by Abel Korzeniowski, at this forum, so I took a punt on it when I saw it in HMV for a tenner. Played it twice and got nothing from it. Took it back and swopped it for something more fulfilling.
