British label Network Releasing will bring to Blu-ray Maigret: The Complete Series. The eleven-disc box set will be available for purchase on August 23.
Unseen for over fifty years, this definitive adaptation of Georges Simenon's world famous novels stars Rupert Davies as Commissaire Jules Maigret, the dogged French detective. Though Simenon's books have been adapted many times for film and television, Davies's celebrated, BAFTA-winning portrayal was Simenon's favorite, stating "At last, I have found the perfect Maigret!".

I'm of an age to have seen it, but I don't think we ever watched it.
I’m also of an age to have seen it and did see it! Very impressive series. As a family we looked forward to every episode although I’ve no idea how it will seem today.
Apart from that BBC series I am a huge fan of the French series with Bruno Cremer who is an ideal Maigret in a superbly made series of 54 feature length episodes (2 more than those of Rupert Davies).
