I just got this set from Amazon today! As others have written, it sounds fantastic! Really brings back the memories from the ‘70’s. I never owned these records, but I checked most of them out of the library constantly!
I ordered on September 15th, and it said it was being shipped from “Amazon Global UK”. And I got it in Los Angeles today.

Mike, I'm would have really regretted not getting this one for "The Road and Finale" from Farenheit 451 on The Fantasy Film World of Bernard Herrmann alone. Perhaps the greatest Herrmann cue ever.
I didn't make it in to Amazon.com until after the $10 price bump, but I got one.

ALL the sets have the British covers for all the albums. NONE of the sets have the American cover for the Mysterious Film World.

Thanks. I wonder why they didn't go with the US artwork since they went to the trouble of making at least one example for the publicity photo (perhaps it was because all the other covers are the UK originals). In any case, this set is outstanding. Loving every second of it.

The Obsession disc is a bit of an odd man out.
All the others are concert-style discs and feature re-recordings of multiple works for a varied program throughout every album. Those six albums are beautifully put together and all seem equal partners as part of a series.
Obsession is more of an outsider, being the original soundtrack recording and having a couple of very rough edits that make it sound anything but a concert-style presentation.
So I just got mine. I really want to listen to Obsession and the others but given that the price continues to go up, do I keep it sealed as more of an investment?

Price is definitely NOT going up enough to justify keeping it sealed and not listening to it!!!

Well, it would seem that there was indeed a problem with shipment of my set. I gave the seller the full amount of time for the shipment window (up to 6 weeks) and still didn't receive the set. I reached out to the seller and got the following message back:
"Thank you for your email,
I am so sorry to hear this item has still not arrived; I can assure you it was definitely posted out within two days of us receiving the order, therefore, I can only assume it has gone astray in the post.
Unfortunately we no longer stock this item, I have been in touch with our suppliers so that I can try to obtain a replacement for you but I have been informed that this item is no longer available, so I am afraid I will have to arrange for a full refund.
If, in the meantime, your order should arrive then please let me know, and please accept my apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused."
So, I am back to looking for this item. Hopefully, it's not too hard to find at a reasonable price. I'm really discouraged that I sat on this for nearly two months and received nothing. Anyone know a good place to grab this?

Mine was purchased directly from amazon.ca. If all else fails, you could try arksquare.net (or perhaps SAE, but I wouldn't be too enthusiastic about that choice). ArkSquare has been, at least for me, an extremely reliable retailer, with very fast, very safe shipping.

Thanks for looking out for me as well. I knew if I posted here I get some helpful options from you guys. The good news is that they are issuing a full refund and I just need to try again with another seller. This set looks too nice to pass up. I know once I get my hands on it then it will have been worth the trouble.
