The original album is a perfect listening experience. (Though I'm definitely enjoying the extras samples.) And I enjoy the movie too, in its way a solid Lovecraft update/adaptation. I'm cutting back on physical purchases b/c stage of life, how many more do I need? Well, this one for sure! It's great that you with BSX and Dragon's Domain give such a spotlight on composers like Band and Lee Holdridge. Thaxton Why does the Intrada site state it is a Re-Issue? And it is a remastering of the original album? Tracks 1-12 are the original album remastered by James Nelson Track #13 is the end credits that didn't appear on the original album. tracks 14-24 are re-mixed from the orchestral sessions for the film done by Matt Lapoint and mastered by James Nelson. We did remaster the original album version as well as presenting newly mixed version of the orchestral tracks (thank you Matt Lapoint0. I haven't seen anyone comment on this new version yet, I hope you are enjoying it. Ford A.
