Hey folks. To those who come to the weekly Zoom meetings we've been having... The current series of meetings has run out. As it's getting summer and more and more of us are allowed to go out, I'm wondering if the Saturday audience is going to start dwindling. So, before I set up the next series I have two questions: 1. Do you still want to keep it weekly, or do you want to slow it down to fortnightly? 2. Do Saturdays still work? Cheers

Hi Stephen - I only ever dropped into the Saturday meetings about once a month anyway, so I'm not the ideal person to ask. But from my point of view, a less frequent schedule would be fine. Saturdays still work, but you're probably right about dwindling numbers with the good weather coming in. So in my case I might be tempted by the street cafés, unless things go tits up/ pear shaped (or as my wife says, tit-shaped"). Thanks for doing these Zooms by the way.

I will be fine with either Saturdays and Sundays, or if they are in turn, like now. Also the current time fits my schedule quite well. Yet I still am not able to make it every Saturday or every Sunday, simply because of other obligations too.

Every other week seems appropriate. We’ll look forward to it even more and have lots to say and report. Mel

Hi Stephen, Count me as a 100% YES whatever you decide until either Hell freezes over or boils away whichever transpires. Thanks for all the work you put in. My cats thank you too. P.s I watched W & G A Close Shave yesterday and in a short sequence with Preston the Dog looking sinister in an upstairs window there was a short musical cue sounding very Hermannesque.

I think Sundays are always my preference, but only because I've been slightly less able to join on Saturdays. And now we're (maybe maybe) looking at a busy summer of gigging for me.... they'll be more or less impossible. Although I really did enjoy listening in on my drive home this last meeting! Weekly or fortnightly Sunday meetings would be cool for me. It's funny. These meetings were obviously proposed as a bit of a temporary distraction from being stuck at home, but they've well and truly just become part of what I do at the weekends. I'll be sad if we ever come to the point of saying goodbye to them. Who knows.... maybe we're not tooooo far away from the fist real life meet up for a few of us.

I think it's a great chat! It would be a real shame to see it fade away. Please, Stephen, keep it up! ;-) And thanks for having me!

OK folks, here's a registration link for FORTNIGHTLY meetings on Sundays at 8pm UK time. https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZcrcumoqD8iG9TvA2ldUsMsNpCDOvlSOz3M Registering will get you access to all the meetings in the series. Don't worry if you're not sure if you can make all the meetings. There's no maximum capacity for registrations so if you're interested register anyway. I'm going to hold off on Saturday meetings for the time being because the indication is that as summer is coming and the world is opening up, people want to be doing other things on Saturdays. Cheers

I had no idea the word fortnight was unknown to our American chums. A fortnightly event is one that happens once every two weeks. Cheers

When someone says "not this week, but every other week". Is that every week but the current one, or another way of saying Fortnightly ?.
