It's been a while since we got some BSG music!

https://gizmodo.com/battlestar-galacticas-bear-mccreary-knows-what-concert-1847006819

"So Say We All: Battlestar Galactica Live will be available on June 4 at McCreary’s Sparks & Shadows site alongside the four original Battlestar Galactica soundtracks, all five of which have been digitally remastered. They’ll also finally be available via streaming services as well. If you want to go the extra mile, a limited number of So Say We All albums signed by McCreary will be available on June 8 over at La-La Land Records"

I attended the first of these concerts Bear did. It was amazing. Richard Hatch attended as well.

Okay, pretty excited for the live album. Bear's music for BSG is some of the best stuff ever written for TV. I've played the hell out of the album for Season 2.

I didn't catch it in the announcement but are the remasters digital only? That would be a shame if they are. While not necessarily a deal breaker for me, I'd still much rather have remastered physical copies.

I read the link a few times, but I'm still a bit confused. Are these all digital-only re-releases and the only physical copy will be a limited number of signed copies of the Live album (So Say We All) available through LaLaLand? I own all the other CDs and would love to buy the live album on CD as well. The Sparks and Shadows site doesn't seem to have CDs, just vinyl.......

My feelings for the show aside, the music was tremendous. I'll happily pick up this concert album.

(I also wished they had used more popular music and rearranged it like they had for All Along The Watchtower.)

I will definitely be picking this up. A long time in coming.

Glad to see these re-released and the live album.

Am a little disappointed as in my mind reissues would involve expanding seasons 2, 3 & 4 to 2 discs and putting the finale out as it's own. I know McCreary had in the past talked about making more music available. Still the existing seasons 2 & 3 are damn near perfect albums as they are. Not sure how much "digital remastering" was really needed or if it'll make any real difference (hopefully not the usual case of just making everything louder).

But cant wait for the live album.

Is there any way to buy the remastered OSTs? All I could find are streaming options.

My goodness, this BSG live album kicks serious ass. Great sound with lots of punch and rip-roaring performances. Clearly meant to me played LOUD. Or is that just me?

1. A Distant Sadness
2. Prelude To War
3. Bartar's Dream
4. Roslin And Adama
5. Apocalypse
6. Fight Night
7. Something Dark Is Coming
8. Wander My Friends
9. Lords Of Kobol
10. Storming New Caprica
11. Heeding The Call
12. All Along The Watchtower (Dylan)
13. Colonial Anthem (Larson/Phillips) and Black Market
