AMERICAN GIGOLO---Jon Bernthal will star in this Showtime tv reboot of the 1980 Richard Gere movie. Bernathal will play high-end male escort Julian Kaye who seeks to find who framed him for murder and find Michelle, his true love. THE ROSE---Cynthia Ervo will star in thie reboot of the 1979 movie that starred Bette Midler. PERFECT STRANGERS---Robin Thede and London Hughes will star in this HBO Max female-led reboot of the comedy tv series that starred Mark Linn-Baker and Bronson Pinchot. TRIVIA---Susan Oliver co-starred in two sci fi roles in which human space travelers were imprisoned in an alien zoo and their minds were read to create a familiar environment for them. In THE TWILIGHT ZONE episode "People Are Alike All Over", Oliver played Martian Teenya and astronaut Sam Conrad (Roddy McDowall) is put in a Martian zoo which is a house created from his mind. In the STAR TREK pilot "The Cage", Oliver played Vina and Captain Christopher Pike is put in a Talosian zoo where the Talosians read his mind. The thread title should be PICARD 2.0, not STAR TREK. Unless when he says he's saving the future in the trailer, he means eliminating the JJ Adams timeline. I believe that Picard would say "the few-chaahh".
