Man you're like the 5th person I've run into over the past 2 weeks who hit 70. And in 2 more weeks (or a "fortnight" heh heh) one of my bros can say it. Was half the world born in '51 or what?!

Congratulations, Joe -- for your milestone, as well as continued enjoyment of your collections(s). I'm just a short way behind you; but may you never forget your way back to your favorite composers by name, or to your favorite scores and cues by title.

Then, you can start aiming for 75!

Happy Birthday, Joe, and best wishes for many more years of enjoyable listening!

I don't believe I ever interacted with you, but I recall seeing you post many times on HTF, back in the day before they huddlerized themselves into near irrelevancy.

Happy Birthday Joe Caps. A scholar and a gentleman. A great asset to this forum, and to humanity.

Happy birthday! You're not that old but I think you've lived through a pretty eventful 70 years. For one thing you've lived to where 70 is "not that old".

I know us whippersnappers might look at the state of film music now compared to the 70's or 80's or even 90's and despair. But what was it like listening to the 60s turn into the 70s? Or the 70s turn into the 80s? Are you listening to us complain and thinking "Been there, done that?"

I might not get another Star Wars but I'm happy to still occasionally get a Ford vs. Ferrari or a Man of Steel (mileage may vary) or a How to Train Your Dragon.

Happy birthday, Joe!

I’m more in your generation (78), but still going strong.
Always enjoy your film and film music comments on the board.
