Huh.

You know what would be funny? If it was an release with nothing.

Is this truly complete? It’s pretty incredible that a popular sitcom which ran for 9 seasons can fit all of its music onto a single CD!

If you read the Variety article by Jon, it's just forty-something minutes of selections.

Lol, but ironically that joke needs a "badumtish" Seinfeld bridge cue.

Yeah I just read it - a little disappointing that it's not complete but A: I had been mainly joking and B: it's a sitcom so it's pretty incredible that any music is being released.

I'll probably buy it just for the fun of it but it would be nice to know that it's complete.

Seriously it was just a bunch of stingers, right? Seinfeld didn't even have a traditional theme song.

Most of the music in the show was transition pieces of brief stingers, but like "Roseanne" and "Fullhouse", it had some set-piece cues, many f which are on this release (looking over the track list).

"Kramer's Crappy Banjo" will be especially useful as a way to get party stragglers to go home. (I wonder if the "stop music now" voice will be on that track.)

sitcoms don't usually call for loads of scoring.

Will it have the Williams Superman theme as source material?

No.

I'm shocked there was this much even written and recorded for the series. It always seemed to me they had recorded five minutes and then chopped it up into pieces to be reused again and again.

As much as I hate dialog heavy soundtracks, this one would benefit with such a release.
