This coming week we will be dropping Three new CD releases.

The first will be a new Composer Collection—this time it’s a composer who is new to the DRAGON’S DOMAIN catalogue. This release features two scores. The First One is from a family film from the 2000’s and the other is from a IMAX Short film. We’ll have autographed booklets available on this on

Here are samples of both scores:

Sample #1

Sample #2

The next is release is from the late 1980’s from a very well made horror film, the score has been on both LP and CD before so no samples for that one, the release has been newly remastered and we also corrected a slight running order error that occurred on the last CD release, We’ll have autographed booklets available on this one.

The third release is the first ever CD release of a score from a supernatural Thriller from the early 90’s, Autographed booklets will be available on this one also.

Sample #3

Hope you enjoy them all!

The second one is Prison. I can't prove it, but I have a damn good feeling.

The sound clips of the others have me intrigued, though.

Sounds like Hummie Mann’s Cyberworld 3D.

The first "collection" release sounds quite good - very nice orchestral writing - but I have no idea who the composer is. Hummie Mann is a good guess.

I agree that the second one reads like Richard Band's "Prison."

The third clip kind of sounds like an "Emmanuelle"-like score (albeit all synthesizer), but that doesn't fit the clue. Maybe it's one of the non-Band early '90s Full Moon scores? "Dark Angel: The Ascent" by Fuzzbee Morse (though 1994 is mid-90s) or "Invisible: The Chronicles of Benjamin Knight" by David Arkenstone (1993)?

Trust me, the clue fits like glove and you'll understand next week.

The first sample sounds nice....!
No idea though...HUMMIE MANN sounds about right though...
And I must admit, I don't have anything by this guy ....what a shame...I totally overlooked him in my 35 Years of soundtrack listening.I will give him some place now!

If you can find them, I highly recommend his scores for Mel Brooks's Robin Hood and Dracula. It's kind of a shame that his career wasn't as big as those scores would warrant.

Listening to the Cyberworld suite at Mann's site, he's definitely the first release's composer. Nice that he's getting another CD.

And so... one of them is indeed Hummie Mann, plus two of the usual suspects.

THE HUMMIE MANN COLLECTION - VOL. 1: THOMAS AND THE MAGIC RAILROAD / CYBERWORLD

PRISON - ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK BY RICHARD BAND

SORCERESS - ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK BY CHUCK CIRINO

So,
What exactly was the issue with the PRISON track list?

From what I recall when Intrada released their CD, they said that the Varese LP was flip-flopped in error. So the Intrada program was essentially side B then side A

On the BSX page, it looks like the original Varese LP sequence has been restored.

Ford,
Could you clarify this “sequence error” in better detail?

I already have Prison and Sorceress sounds a bit dour from the clips.

Definitely want to get the Hummie Mann collection, though.

The running order on the earlier CD release was BACKWARDS

Side B and then Side A

Human error on their part it happens to all of us at one time or another...

We fixed that and of course James Nelson at Digitial Outland worked his magic and it sounds really good.

We have you enjoy it.

Dour??
that's something I would have never thought to describe Chuck's score to SORCERESS

To each their own.

I do think PRISON is a upgrade on the earlier release on a sonic level.
