I wished they'd finally release this score. Ever since I saw the film back when I was a kid, I wanted it. But yeah, some goals need to stay unfulfilled in life.

In the meantime, there's this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fo0SuXkprpc).

I have the first Crocodile Dundee score and I love it.

Peter Best is the best?

I think if Paul Hogan okays it? He is like the Tom Cruise of that series.

A boxset would be nice of all 3 films. Might be hard though.

I think the reason why part II never had a release was that Peter Best wasn’t interested in producing an album. Primarily because the second score, while not identical, was just more of the same.

I’d buy it, if it ever happens though.

It is a lot more of the same but I actually remember liking the score from the second film better and for a sequel, the film is actually really good too. I would love an actual release of this.

I used to have the Crocodile Dundee LP. Found it rather underwhelming, to be honest.

I'm surprised LLL hasn't done a trilogy set yet given that it's Paramount.

LPs are indeed quite underwhelming.

This is one of those (Nelson) Mandela Effects in which I could've sworn an album of this existed...

I liked the Main Title of The first one..fits like a glove. The rest also was good for the movie...but never enjoyed listening to it apart from the movie.

I think you might be thinking of “The Very Excellent Mr. Dundee”, which finally saw a release last year. It’s not a third sequel, though - Paul Hogan plays a fictional version of himself in it. The title of the film is just in reference to how people think of him as just Mick Dundee.

There was what turned out to be an Australian Tourism ad about 4 years ago that was positioned to look like a new Crocodile Dundee film, if i recall correctly. Perhaps you are thinking of that?

I love the music to the first two films. Would buy a soundtrack to the second for sure.
