STAR TREK - THE MOTION PICTURE "THE MELD", "FLOATING OFFICE" (close second) STAR TREK II "THE GENESIS CAVE" STAR TREK III "GENESIS DESTROYED" STAR TREK IV Not determined yet STAR TREK V "LET'S GET OUT OF HERE part 1 & 2", "THE MIND-MELD" (close second, wish the cue was longer) STAR TREK VI "MAIN TITLE" (nice channeling of Stravinsky and Holst)
Very tough to stick to just one cue per Jerry scored film (I & V), almost can't be done. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ STAR TREK VII "A CHRISTMAS HUG" STAR TREK VII "THE FLIGHT OF THE PHEONIX" STAR TREK IX "THE RIKER MANEUVER" (had a bit of a Leviathan feel to it) STAR TREK X "FINAL FLIGHT", "YOUR BROTHER" (close second, wish the cue was longer)
Tougher to find favorite cues in the Next Gen movies, not for lack of great music, but mainly because of my general distaste for these films.
Alright - while owning all the scores but not being completely invested in them all...I’ll give this a go. (It’s been interesting listening to other people’s choice - this is why I love lists)
Star Trek - The Enterprise Star Trek 2 - Genesis Countdown Star Trek 3 - Stealing the Enterprise Star Trek 4 - Main Title Star Trek 5 - Without Help Star trek 6 - Sign Off Star Trek 7 - Kirk Saves The Day Star Trek 8 - Main Title Star Trek 9 - sorry....I’ve got nothing for this one Star Trek 10 - The Scorpion
I just finished my first listen to LLL's 3CD TMP and boy is this thing good... I think my favorite from now on is "The Enterprise EARLY VERSION". Why did they change that? This cue is beyond perfection...
updated post: 1. The Enterprise (the one and only early version) 2. Epilogue / End Credits 3. A Fighting Chance To Live 4. The Whaler 5. The Mountain 6. End Credits 7. Overture 8. First Contact 9. How Old Are You / New Sight 10. A New Ending / End Credits
