Recently experienced this problem creating playlists in Apple Music/Itunes Music. Playlists are created with tracks in the proper sequence, but when I try to to burn the playlist to CD, the tracks are out of sequence. I've read that others have experienced this issue.

Anybody here experience this, and is there some kind of solution or workaround for this?

I'm afraid my experience won't be of much help.
My days of burning iTunes CD's are LONG past, but when I did, the tracks were automatically arranged alphabetically by artist name.
I had no way of modifying the metadata to change that.
I know you are asking about Apple Music--I have no idea whether those 2 softwares have any functional commonalities.

I hope someone else responds with better intel.

The tracks may appear in the correct order, but is the playlist actually sorted by the "Track No." column?

The tracks are in the proper order when viewed in the playlist, but are out of sequence when attempting to burn a CD. It's very frustrating.

Apple Music is what Itunes became. I never had an issue with burning CDs until recently. Though, Googling the problem, I don't appear to be the only one to experience the problem.

That's not telling me that you have the tracks sorted by the "Track #" column.

Here's a thought.
And it may be idiotic--you tell me.

Burn the tracks on a rewriteable.
Rip the tracks back into the hard drive, losslessly (if that's even possible with Apple tracks--it should be).
Then re-burn them in the desired order.
It's a LONG workaround, but it would have the desired outcome.

Yeah, in just reading that back, it sounds daft.

Was it an MP3 disc? If you burn a playlist onto CD as an MP3 disc, when it finishes burning and the CD information appears the tracks will appear out of order. (but their not) If you play the CD in a CD player it will play in the correct order. Ive experienced this more than once.

I have not burned a CD in ages... last time I did it, was probably just copying a disc...

However, I remember that you could state the exact sequence of tracks in iTunes. I am very sure it DID work at some time, I don't know if they changed it though.
