Does anyone know if Michael Giacchino’s logo music for the MCU films has been commercially released?

The original recording? No. But London Music Works did their own recording of it for a Marvel album they released a few years ago.

Thanks for the info, Erik. Much obliged.
Alas, I can’t open the YouTube link. The video is not available in my part of the world, apparently (Denmark).

I hope they release the original at some point. It’s a great, effective piece of music.

Wasn't this available to stream back when it was first unveiled? I can't recall where - maybe one of those exclusive interviews where the composer would unveil pieces of his upcoming works, or some press release by Marvel themselves.

This is readily available on Apple music & other streaming services. London Music Works nailed it IMHO, I use it at the top of my iTunes Marvel playlist

These new fanfare's don't compare to the classics of yesteryear. Orchestration is so different nowadays. There's just no hook or theme. They're dull. I don't feel excited for the film I'm about to watch which used to be the case with the classic themes from FOX, Universal, UA, etc. Those themes really got me excited for the presentation. Like damn this is gonna be epic, regardless if the film was epic or a turkey!

Giacchino's Marvel logo is probably the best logo music still in regular use.

That's funny that it's on an album called Music from the Avengers Movies. Neither G's fanfare nor Tyler's was ever used for an Avengers film.

But it is a nice recording.

Giacchino wrote that? I never knew. Great fanfare. Actually memorable.

I’m always delighted when I hear Giacchino’s Marvel logo start to play, because it means I’ll have plenty of time to use the bathroom, make some popcorn, pour a mixed drink, and check my email… all before the logo finishes playing and the episode or movie starts to play.

Even more acutely obvious in front of a TV show which has a 10 second title card...

I honestly thought the one that they currently use (on Loki etc.) was by Brian Tyler although having found both the Tyler and Giacchino ones on Amazon, they more or less sound like the other played upside down. Still, I think the Giacchino one is the most enjoyably pompous of the two and I'll always enjoy something which apes the opening string figure from Horner's Star Trek 2 main titles.

…and apes the 20th Century Fox Fanfare I should add.
