How many awful versions of "Star Trek" can they pump out? It's like throwing feces at the wall and seeing what sticks. The animation looks like garbage too. This isn't Star Trek. It's been 48 years since ST:TAS and this is the best they can do?

Looks more interesting than Lower Decks (aka Star Trek: Rick and Morty).

Ugh.

ST is already for kids, if you are a mature kind of kid looking for upright heroes (I mean, not in streaming ST or anything, but TOS and TNG had plenty of characters to look up to).

I really enjoyed Lower Decks.

Not quite sure what you are saying, Trek in large has been a more conversational and philosophical franchise compared to Star Wars, that is why it is not nearly as financially successful.

Never understood that argument. All entertainment is for the "kid" in all of us. Movies are just modern day fairy tales. You can waste your time watching a made up story or solve the riddles of the universe which is what "adults" do I guess.

Twenty-three seconds in I had to bail -- awful, awful, awful.
