I know CDs tend to go out of print eventually. It's one of those facts of life. But I'm a bit surprised by the number of MCU CDs that have gone out of print: Captain America: The First Avenger, Iron Man 2, Thor, The Avengers: Age of Ultron, Ant-Man, Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange. Even Intrada's release of the score to the first Avengers seems to have been out of stock for quite a long time. I get it when scores that don't sell well or scores to obscure films go out of print, but you'd think there would be longer lasting demand for music of the MCU if for anything. Of course I'm asking because I didn't pick up any number of these when they were available (just didn't have the interest at the time), but a few have caught my fancy since. I don't expect anyone to have an answer as to whether we might see any of these back in print again or when, but thought I'd make the topic if anyone does have any insights or info.

They were all reissued for the 10th anniversary in 2018 in Japan and are still available.

As you might expect these CDs are really gorgeous!

I really hate those covers, though.

Something doesn't seem right about these releases at Arksquare.
Are they confirmed to be legit?

Thanks for the link, Roy! Shame they didn't release more of them (notably Doyle's Thor), but there are some great ones there that are no longer being printed in the US market.

T.J., Ark Square definitely has some quite pricey and supposedly complete Marvel scores that are pretty obviously not legit. But as Fifloe pointed out, Universal Japan did release the ones with the Blu-ray cover designs (plus Doctor Strange, Infinity War, Endgame, etc.).

Thanks.
Arksquare looks like they sell boots along side legit releases so I wasn't sure.

Unfortunately, the collection is missing The Avengers score and Captain America: First Avenger. The two I was primarily interested in.

Search "Silvestri Avengers." They do carry Intrada's 19-track release.

Arksquare supposedly has the Avengers score, however this score has been OOP for a good while so I wonder if their catalogue represents live and instock inventory.

I really hate those covers, though.

These covers are a separate card insert on top of the original covers on the Japanese booklet, so you have the best of both worlds with these releases!

Huh. I wonder if there's any way to check whether an item's in stock or not.

Yep, I needed "Thor" and they didn't re-release it with the others. WHY?!

Unfortunately not. I usually ask them in e-mail before I place an order because more than one occasion the CDs I wanted to buy were not in stock.

I used ArkSquare once or twice 15 years ago. All I remember is they stocked some very rare stuff (I'm pretty sure I got that Free As The Wind Jerry Goldsmith album from them) and the wait was pretty long.

I really wish they took paypal. I hate giving any sort of "direct payment" information these days - but I'm also missing the Civil War score...
