I can't believe The Great Race is almost gone. That was so much work. I remember going to WB and looking over the tapes and shooting video to surprise Jeff Bond with the main title playing.
I "like" the film quite a bit, but I LOVE the score- and LLLs set is magnificent.
Thanks for the all hard work! Your labors contributed to one of my all time favorite LLL releases.

All four of these are fantastic releases, among LLL's very best. And First Knight too, of course (I don't know Warriors personally).

Wyatt Earp is a score not to be missed. It is one of the great epic scores of all time and certainly one of the best western scores. And that is saying a lot!!!

FINALLY First Knight. I have been waiting for this to come back in stock for...forever it seems. Needless to say, I jumped at it.
I feel like it’s been at least 6-10 years.
Yavar, what is your quick assessment of FIRST KNIGHT as a Goldsmith score? I hear a lot of ideas that he’d use again in a pinch for AIR FORCE ONE actually. Haven’t seen the movie since it came out.

I purchased Jonny Quest last year during the Spring Sale and can highly recommend it to those who haven’t gotten around to buying it yet.

As Paul posted above Wyatt Earp is a wonderful score. An epic, old fashioned, melodic work that rewards with every listen. One of my favorites from James Newton Howard.

I think I have First Knight too (Goes to check... yep have it!)
I recall Jonny Quest was kinda jazzy sounding and that's not my cup of tea.
I’ll have to listen to the samples before I pass on this again.
Jonny Quest does have an overall jazzy sound, but there are also some pieces that recall the music of Bernard Herrmann, though I don’t know whether Herrmann is your cup of ktea.

Looks like FIRST KNIGHT is still holding in, I might have to get it finally.
It's a very interesting score that has a lot of surprising similarities to AIR FORCE ONE - or I should say that some of the same musical constructs that worked in AIR FORCE ONE worked well and had their origins in FIRST KNIGHT, a medieval action/adventure story.
