Given that the film seems to be of the – ‘Spy Genre’…
I’m just asking… (not complaining)…

Would the film have had – more of a – James Bond style – if say…
Clint Eastwood asked Sir John Barry to do the score?

John Williams score is marvellous; but for some insane reason…
I believe I would have preferred the score a lot more if John Barry had written it.

Tracks like – ‘Up The Drainpipe’ – for instance –
I believe are more suited to John Barry than John Williams…
Overall though; John Williams’ score – as a listening experience –
would probably be ranked higher; as John Barry repeats himself a lot more.

But for the film itself; I can’t help it but imagine a John Barry score.

It's not so much a spy film as a deconstruction of a spy film. By design.
