And Fairytale of New York that's sounds very like the theme from a mid 80s crime film composed by that Italian guy!

Those opening notes were deliberate, as we know, thomas - the band's favourite film on tour that year.

Look, I have no time for this nonsense, so could someone please post a video of Michael Jackson's 1991 song "Heal the World" and tell me that it's not quite similar to a bit in a popular 1970s film about a shark? Thanx!

Bill, those sharks are pathetic. I'm talking about the real one which ate Robert Shaw to death in the film that made John Williams famous for his songs from the movies.

The first time I ever heard that Sam Smith song, all I could hear was Tom Petty's Stand My Ground.

Glad to hear that feeling was justified.
