Oh wow, this list is hilariously bad. The best composers of ALL TIME and ... Greenwood, Levi, Djawadi...f*cking really ?
No Herrmann, Rozsa, Korngold, Waxman. ? I'm not saying all of them had to be mentioned , but none of them? And no Goldsmith. If you're doing a 12 best of all time, with due respect, I wouldn't even put Elfman or Giacchino on that short list. Some composers I love wouldn't make the list for the best ever, and some I've never connected with would no doubt be on the list.
If they had said this was a list of "composers for the cool kids who buy LP's and like to think they know a bit about films scores " then, okay.
Otherwise, this list is ridiculous.
