What excites me and us more is a new John Williams score to this new film. But now I'm thinking THIS film might be the new Crystal Skull. I shall await with interest but with the reports of injuries and sickness against the cast and crew (feels like we've been here before). - a bad omen of sorts. Will the adventure excitement still grip us or will it be a lost cause a forgotten adventure that eventually we'll be banging our heads and reviewing how bad that was in the future. Don’t get me wrong I love the adventures of INDIANA JONES and this film has a good cast but 'I have a bad feeling about this' that there's no SPIELBERG magic and that Indys greatest adversary has a name and its name is WOKE. Roll on 2022!

Yeah, it's hard to drill up any excitement for this film, when factoring in all the variables. CRYSTAL SKULL was horrible. Ford is way too old and will just make me sad looking at Old Indiana Jones. It will have to virtue signal and pander, due to the production company and the times we live in. And Mangold is hardly known for his fast paced, thrill a minute adventure rides. The only thing I can get excited about is some new music from John Williams, even if CRYSTAL SKULL was a 'been there, done that' kind of effort from him. Maybe we will get a swansong score from him that will soar above anything onscreen (and maybe the film will surprise us all...wouldn't THAT be great).

Is anyone interested in this film? I'm a big Indiana jones fan, but I think they're pushing it with this one. No Spielberg either. It's a shame how far this series has fallen since THE LAST CRUSADE! I hope it's better than the last installment. I also read Ford is being de-aged for some scenes in the film. Hopefully it's a proper send off.

Logan is so way over hyped. Awful, awful movie. Not adult at all, just shock and awe with a terribly stupid script, pathetic deaths of the protagonists and deconstruction of noble characters. I'm not sure I felt quite as strongly against LOGAN as this, but I failed to see what made it the legendary superhero film people held it up to be. Just because it did something different with its ending from what people had come to expect? It was a fine effort, but the villain (evil Wolverine) was pretty clichéd and I found it difficult to watch many of those scenes with a straight face. I by far preferred THE WOLVERINE as a solo Logan film and would have fully understood if audiences had similarly lauded the merits of that one. Alas THE WOLVERINE was viewed the same way I see LOGAN: as just okay.

Naturally, I don’t agree with some of you fellas. I loved Logan. I hated seeing the character die, because I’m that way, but as an alternate finale, I thought it was fine. The performances were incredible. Ford is old, but he’s in good shape and if this closes out the series better than Crystal Skull, I’ll be satisfied. None of the films after Raiders have been as good as the first anyway, but I do love the character. I just want him to play "Old Indy" not "Old Harrison" which is kind of what he's been doing. I can't tell the difference between old Han Solo and old Rick Deckard. As for current cinema, there’s lots of great reasons to see films on the large screen. Love him or hate him, I always have to see a Tom Cruise action flick in the theater. Top Gun: Marverick was well worth the trip and a truly immersive experience. No chance I'll pass on a Mission Impossible film.
