Talk about a score that benefits from an expansion. Floored by the sound quality too. I've been listening to this nonstop.

"Inertia" is such a beautiful cue.

It's entirely unintentional I'm sure, but some of the electronics coupled with the sax/horns reminds me of Mark Isham's sublime Trouble In Mind score, one of my favourite soundtracks. The darker synth sections with the heavy reverb remind me of Trevor Jones Angel Heart (wouldn't that be a great expansion too). It's all very much of its time and has me feeling quite nostalgic.

Not the release of the year but definitely the Varese release of the year.

Yes, I don't have this re-issue yet, but I played the old Varese edition last week and was reminded of early era Isham with those jazzy trumpet/sax blasts.
