In 2002, at the place where i used to work i was talking about music and someone looked at me with a strange looking face and said to me : you re still buying cds ?????
Is ironic but since those days where the time for cds was over i got the very best a soundtrack fan can dream and get. Just take a look and see what you have since.

I’m moving to a house and asked my brother, who is an architect, to design a shelft for my cds. His 20 year-old assistant was armazed and said “Wow, he actually has cds!”

I would say that in general CDs have never really gone away. Aside from some small indie artists on Bandcamp most albums I buy have a physical release. I think that the alluding towards the obsolescence of CDs is a mental attitude aimed at younger audiences instigated by record labels in an attempt to fight piracy.
