L.A. LAW---Corbin Bernsen and Blair Underwood are returning for the ABC reboot pilot for the legal tv series that ran on NBC from 1986-1994. Bernsen said, “I’ve often thought about revisiting L.A. LAW and Arnie Becker over the years. Now seems the perfect moment in time to explore our fast-changing world through Becker’s eyes. Fasten your seatbelts.”





HAUNTED MANSION---Owen Wilson and Danny DeVito will star in the Walt Disney reboot of the 2003 movie based on the Disney ride attraction.

OUTFIELDER---Jamie Lee Curtis and Ryan Murphy are developing a Netflix miniseries about Los Angeles Dodger outfielder Glenn Burke, who invented the High Five and the first MLB player to come out as gay. Curtis said, "Ryan is producing a project I’ve been trying to get made as a producer for over ten years. I’ve had the rights to a project of the life of the man who invented the High Five".

BATGIRL---JK Simmons and Jacob Scipio will co-star with Leslie Grace in the superhero movie.

TOM CLANCY'S JACK RYAN---Abbie Cornish will return as Cathy Mueller in Season 4.

TRIVIA---Alfred Hitchcock's THE BIRDS used 3.200 trained birds and $200,000 was spent to make mechanical birds.

I also read somewhere (!) that Disney is delaying release of many Marvel movies, as well as the Indi 5 movie (for an additional year!).

If the latter is true - a release slated for 2023(!) - I wonder why/what purpose that serves.

Was it the trained birds or mechanical birds pecking school children to a bloody pulp?
