Can anybody out there think of one case in which a synthesizer was over used or just plain noisy in on pop song? One example is Janet Jackson's "Nasty" which is soothing as fingernails scraping on a blackboard!
Which begs the question, "How do we all come to an agreement about what constitutes Worst?".
In the meantime, this Gino Vannelli tune was the first thing that came to mind. I love Gino, but even apart from the synths, it's just a pretty bad song. I dare anyone to sit through all of it.
