Could find no previous thread on this.

Lovely score, of course, but I've removed the Schubert. Instead, I want to put that piece (the Quartet in D Minor) in its own iTunes album. However, I don't know what album/recording it's taken from (I presume it's not recorded for the OST). Do you know?

While we're at it, I'm also curious about the source of the two Schubert "Impromptu" pieces on the PORTRAIT OF A LADY soundtrack, if you know. I've removed those as well. The third Schubert track here is from the same source as the MAIDEN.

Regarding the Schubert : all it says on the cd is that it was recorded on Switzerland in September '94. While the score was abbey rd/CTS, also sep '94.
The impromptu pieces says New York '96
No cd numbers given.

Hmmm....so could be recorded specifically for the album, then?

I would guess so. Big directors with some muscle.

In that case, it would pose a challenge in terms of selecting a cover. Would be from a different recording of the same piece. But thanks for looking it up on the CDs (I only have these digitally).

I kept them in the same album at iTunes but inverted. Score first then Schubert
