For bringing some welcome positivity to the message board. Half the fun of FSM is the unfolding of disagreements (or maybe that’s just me - but I do recall a former member asserting quite rightly in my view that disagreeing can be just as enjoyable as agreeing) but it has to be balanced. Ron’s posts have done that in spades.

It helps that I share his enthusiasm for all the music he’s brought into his posts - thus far!

Yes, and excellent choices too. All of those scores have been favorites of mine over the years and I still play them today. I also take it for granted that everyone is aware of these classic scores, but probably not so. Especially with the younger generations.

I'm surprised Joan didn't praise him in her "Too OLD For The FSM Board" thread. And where's the "TOP TEN Ron Pulliam Soundtracks" thread??

Thanks, Ron, for the positive attitude and the music. Great stuff.

I'm surprised Joan didn't praise him in her "Too OLD For The FSM Board" thread.

But I did that in that topic. I want to add here that I'm delighted that Ron is doing a wonderful job of introducing excellent movie scores.

Thank you for the kind words and the encouragement.

I've rather expected a bit of backlash about posting so much about so many "old" scores.

Happily, that hasn't happened. I am at a point in my life where I want to express my love for certain scores and composers. Anyone who can add to those posts is most welcome as I am always interested in what others have to say about them.

For the benefit of Thor: I realize that older posts may have have subjects related to these scores, but those were then. Mine are now.
