A Happy Thanksgiving to all. I'm trying to assemble my own selections for a particular type of film music cues, and I thought that I would tap the considerable film music brain power of our group. Here's what I'm looking for: it could be the Main Title or the End Scene, where it happens in the film is not important. I'm looking for cues that are Happily Emotional, perhaps partly Nostalgic, Uplifting and Heartwarming, where you hear it and MUST stop what you're doing or saying to listen, saying to yourself, "Boy, that's beautiful!" An example of what I'm looking for is William Ross's Main Title from MY DOG SKIP: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1V8u93TgCY Ladle out the emotion, I don't care how syrupy it is. Oceans of violins are OK. Piano and strings are OK. If it brings a tear to your eye, that's OK. I want musical cues that will touch people's hearts. What say you? I think this could be interesting.
