Reds was actually released on blu ray back in 2008. I managed to pick up a copy of it. This new release sounds like it has the same transfer.

Thanks I will correct it, though this is definitely a brand new transfer that's been freshly remastered, and is described as such in the packaging. It's not the ancient master from the HD-DVD/Blu-Ray that was done nearly 15 years ago.

No idea if it's mentioned in the post but The Green Cockatoo, featuring an early Miklos Rozsa score, is coming from Kino January 25th.
