STAR WARS: AHSOKA---Ivanna Sakhno ( PACIFIC RIM: UPRISING) will play a new character on the Disney+ spinoff tv series.
DUNK AND EGG---Steve Conrad (THE PURSUIT OF HAPPYNESS) will be the writer/executive producer of the HBO GAME OF THRONES prequel series set 90 years before Ned Stark's death.
PAPER EMPIRE---Robert Davi, Kelsey Grammer, Wesley Snipes, Anne Archer, Denise Richards, Cuba Gooding, Jr., Steve Guttenberg and Richard Grieco star in this tv series about a financial swindler who breaks out of prison and seeks to conquer the cyber world.
HOUSE OF GUCCI---Gucci fashion empire heirs said they are unhappy with the Ridley Scott movie and may sue, “the production of the film did not bother to consult the heirs” and the movie portayed the Gucci family as “thugs, ignorant and insensitive to the world around them...The Gucci family reserve the right to take every initiative (necessary) to protect their name and image and those of their loved ones.”
Scott had earlier replied to the family's criticism, “I don’t engage with that. You have to remember that one Gucci was murdered and another went to jail for tax evasion so you can’t be talking to me about making a profit. As soon as you do that you become part of the public domain.”
ROCKY---Dolph Lundgren commented on a deleted scene in CREED II which had Rocky Balboa and Ivan Drago fighting and hinted a Drago spinoff movie may be underway, "I thought it was a good moment. It was also a fan moment. It was a quick little fight, and I thought it worked... But the director and MGM felt that it was extraneous and that it didn’t add anything. By the way, I think there’s some talk about doing a whole spinoff on Drago with MGM. So you may get more of that.”
MALIGNANT---Annabelle Wallis confirmed reports that a sequel is being discussed, “We have. There’s plenty of ideas swirling around. We were very, very flattered by the reception and I think taken aback by the reception. So yeah, there’s lots of conversations happening.”
CHUCKY---SyFy/USA Network renewed the series for Season 2.
TRIVIA---the dinosaur Tianchiasaurus nedegoapeferima was an ankylosaurus whose fossil remains were found in China. The genus name Tianchiasaurus refers to Tianchi Lake where the fossil remains were found. The species name nedegoapeferima was suggested by Steven Spielberg and based on the first or second letters of the family name of the cast of JURASSIC PARK: Sam NEil, Laura DErn, Jeff GOldblum, Richard Attenborough, Bob PEck, Martin FErrero, Ariana RIchards and Joseph MAzello.
Tianchiasaurus nedegoapferima's nickname is Jurassosaurus which is derived from JURASSIC PARK.
