I tend to really like more "special" packeging (Digipack for example) as long it is useful. This is not useful. Like I said before, I like the idea of a ghostface mask but the execution begins to be bad when it's need to folded to fit in the case. Due to the bending this mask won't even look good when unfolded. It's the same with those stupid film posters in the Star Wars scores. But with this scream release it's even worse because the mask is needed to hold the discs in place.
Here a solution for all problems (and still having a special packeging)
you could even put the ghostface mask in there AAAAAAAND you could remove it. And the best thing: the CD's are STILL secure in the case. Awesome, I know... And for those ones of us who actually listens to the CD, It's also really easy to open. It's a win win win situation.
Great to have this terrific music finally released officially.
The liner notes don't go into detail, so I wanted to check if anyone knew or could verify what the two unused cues Doppelgaler and Sid's Theme Reprise were scored for?
Doppelgaler was a wild cue recorded for potential use, right? My theory about Sid's Theme Reprise is that it was supposed to sequenced before All in the Family (the film has tracked material during the finale), it fits well there and if I remember correctly you can briefly hear part of it at that spot.
I'm not sure if this is a regular problem or just mine, but my edition came with Cover for disc 6 repeated, so I don't have a cover for the Disc 1, anyone here kind enough to share the scan for the Disc 1 cover? I need to fill thant gap in my digital collection, thanks! If not permited here my email is osguort (at sign) hotmail.com, thanks!
