Continuing SEASON 1:

A one-season lived Quinn Martin production. But it did have a full season.

Despite a full season, barely any episodes had original scores and the series was heavily tracked with cues from those scores, including in some rare cases, alternate versions.

All composers only did one episode, so I will not bother mentioning that in each entry as I normally would do. And since there are so few, to draw out interest, I am only doing one episode a day.

Even though the scores were tracked so heavily, I didn't find a single episode that tracked Williams. That and his theme not surviving beyond the pilot, indicates to me it was not a happy experience for him and the producers were not thrilled with his work.

They definitely saved the original scores for the stronger episodes IMO. And considering how many would-be regulars in the pilot weren't retained the series. ..

"The Skykiller", the episode he scored, a lot better than the actual pilot movie...

Tatro's driving lower octave piano beat really lends a hand to the drive and tension on screen. The repeating synth sound -- reminiscent of the one Schifrin used in the theme music -- also creates a continuing energetic drive forward. I very much look forward to owning this score one day. Hell, all of them.

That's it for the show. No TV movies, no spin-offs, no remakes, no talk of remakes. While skimming the show to hear the score, I thought the show was good and worth watching. This show should have gotten another season at least.
