I'm a bit confused about the tracklisting... why are there so many tracks with the same title?

Because it's Ennio. Haven't you noticed this before on other cds.

That's a pretty spectacular first score. It's my alltime favourite of his.

LOLITA is excellent too, of course.

yeah it was actually Apple Music who suggested it for me. For once they were very right! haha!
They played me the first track "Fateless" and I just couldnt believe how beautiful it was! Then I visited the album and testet "Home Again". Even more beautiful! And I was sold! Probably listened to the full album at least ten times since last week!

The theme from Lolita sounded really nice so I want to check out the full score. But need to watch the movie first big grin

Yes often on ennio scores, when there are several versions of the same theme, they are often named the same, only difference being the timings.
But at least you get an indication of what the track is. Many italian scores just have seq 1, seq 2, etc

Thanx for the info! Learn something new everyday big grin

I might just rename them to "Lolita 1", "Lolita 2" etc. Just so I know which tracks I'm listening to, lol

Lol.
The "And more" at the end of Mathias's post is possibly the biggest understatement on the board ever. wink
But he's right, his suggestions are good ones.
Most will be on youtube so you can check them out.

...or you can check out this thread of mine, which was created shortly after his death and really proved very valuable in building my collection of Morricone's more lyrical or loungey scores that I didn't already own. Many of Matthias' recommendations pop up there too:
