I have a small issue regarding a Quartet release. One of the cd’s from my last order had a missprint on the back inlay. The inlay wasn’t cut correctly, which caused the title on the spine to be cut off on both sides of the spine.

I had asked if it was possible to send a replacement inlay along with my next order, but had no response. This was a couple of weeks ago. In the meantime I have send them two emails, a Facebook message and even an Instagram message. I don’t want to keep sending messages, but they just don’t respond. What should I do?

It's annoying when labels or stores don't respond. I have an issue with the German branch of Dodax concerning a missing package: they replied to my first e-mail but nothing since then. No refund, no replacement package - and no communication at all. Which is weird because I had never had any problems ordering from them before.

Jose was informed about my post here. He send me a very nice email today, explaining that someone at Quartet has Covid. They are therefor working with very limited resources at the moment. He assured me I'd be getting a replacement. smile

There you are. Some companies are incompetent, but with the good ones, there's a reason for everything.

When I first read the original post, my first thought was a staffing issue. Between COVID and the great resignation (it's a real thing), it's such a huge issue. A friend of ours told us he worked 60 hours of OT last week due to lack of resources. He works for the town and runs their public works department. The cold and snow has left them desperate for bodies. At my company alone, the number of resignations and retirements is staggering. The service industries are bleeding bodies. Hopefully this will turn around soon.

I'm glad that Jose got back to you. Quartet is a class act.

I’m sorry this happened, but I’m happy it’s on the way to being resolved.

Jose is indeed a class act—thoughtful, patient, understanding. And in this world in which we’re livin’, he can only do what he can do.

Chris
