I started listening to it; expecting to be thoroughly angered (leading to hate, leading to suffering, etc, etc), but I ended but enjoying it in a guilty pleasure sort of way.

While watching the show, the different musical approach was distracting me from suspending my disbelief (I WANT the music to be noticed, I WANT the music to tell me what I'm supposed to feel because that's the only way to make the larger-than-life characters, cheesy dialogue and soapy plot work). But discerned from the visuals I actually liked some the cues. Especially the William Ross contributions of course. I chuckled at the new Stormtrooper/Empire theme by Holt (or whatever it's affiliated to), but don't detest it.

I think the the Obi-Wan theme is badly underdeveloped, also by Ross. It doesn't develop into anything interesting, it's orchestration doesn't change to augment character growth or plot development. It's usage feels mandatory.
(It made me think of the first Pirates of the Caribbean score actually; enjoyable as a braindead listening experience, but failing to enhance what's going on onscreen. Jikes!)
And the performance of the Imperial March, Leia's Theme and the Force Theme in Episode VI feel really bland.
