Yeah, I definitely should and will. The score is great, and the movie is one I really would want to see. I'd get a 4k Blu-ray right away (it's a Malick film, so it should look great), but there doesn't seem to be one (yet). But I have this on my radar now for sure.
I watched A Hidden Life on Disney+ this week - wonderful film and score, and the album seems to reflect the score as heard in the film well (including the classical pieces).
Finally got around to giving this a listen (and a whittle). As noted above, it can be a bit of a plod, at over 100 minutes. Lots of 'barely there' suspense cues and FALLING DOWN throbs which are a bit aimless, but also some lovely VILLAGE/HIDDEN LIFE style violin passages and tender scoring that are a delight. The action stuff veers from modern day snooze/drone to exciting JNH orchestral blasts. I've kept the nicer stuff and the more exciting/present dramatic music in my playlist.
The things I do for yooz Enjoy!
