Produced by Jon Favreau, music by Hans Zimmer.

I do wonder why they're representing the T-Rex as this super obese creature now? confused eek

I know I'm always a negative nelly but I really dislike the conjecture they come up with in these documentaries nowadays. There was a time when documentaries delivered facts and not deliver speculation as facts.

Ive seen baby feral cats easily capture and eat lizards, so I have no problem in believing a baby T-Rex could catch a baby sea turtle on dry land with ease. The speculation in this short clip ("The problem is inexperience, this could take some time.") seems unfounded.

We need a new term for programs like this- "Docuspeculation".

I'm guessing he just did the theme, like with the other nature documentaries as of late? The rest of the score by those Bleeding Fingers guys, perhaps?

Seems likely...unless Apple decided to pony up for the full Zimmer fee?! It looks amazing, the animation and look is very impressive, but it's basically a fancier Walking with Dinosaurs and I'll be amazed if the music is as good as Ben Bartlett's superb music for that and Walking with Beasts.

Yes, it's rather strange that none of the dinosaur TV documentaries in the last 30 years have been able to compete with the special effects of JURASSIC PARK. At some point, there must be a documentary with the money and resources to make a fully convincing dino docu.

I wish I had evidence, but one of the things I talked about with friends after seeing JP was how they should do a documentary about dinosaurs using CGI... I should have been a BBC producer. I guess Walking With Dinosaurs was limited by what you could achieve on a TV budget. It's quite a leap creating 6 minutes (seriously, it's that little) of CGI for a Spielberg blockbuster to at least 10 times that for TV. Gotta say that Prehistoric Planet looks fairly promising so far, CGI dino wise.

The CGI in Walking with Dinosaurs is better than anything Ive seen Hollywood do in the last 30 years.

Soundtrack Album for Apple TV+’s ‘Prehistoric Planet’ to Be Released

Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ natural history event series Prehistoric Planet. I can confirm it's not the best music written for dinosaurs

You mean James Newton Howards DINOSAUR is better?

Listened (suffered) the whole thing on Spotify. Let's hope Artificial Intelligence will soon replace this kind of artificial-music and give us something approaching real music composition again.

Sounds like "Armageddon", but not as good. But I guess that music would be fitting?

I blame Andrew James Christie for the bad stuff. Zimmie would never do that to us.

Just watched some of the episodes of season 2. The music is great and show is even better.
